Please see this information about a great new initiative based at nearby St Cuthbert’s Church in Fordwych Road.
Kilburn FoodCycle, who were previously providing free fresh lunches on a Saturday, have now responded to the current situation. They are now delivering food parcels around the local area, and in partnership with St Cuthbert’s church have set up a new food bank based at St Cuthbert’s Church, Fordwych Road.
They would like to extend this, and have asked if Sidings can circulate details of this to our users, and particularly to those whom we know would particularly benefit from a service like this. It can be individuals or a family. https://volunteer.foodcycle.
Donations of non perishable food items can be dropped off at St Cuthbert’s church on Fridays between 6-7pm. Donations can also be left at Emmanuel church, West Hampstead on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5.30-7.30pm and St Mary’s church, Kilburn on Fridays between 10am-2pm.
Suggested donations include tinned fruit and vegetables, tinned tomatoes, pasta sauces, pasta and rice. If you know someone that is struggling and needs help, fill in the referral form on the Foodcycle link https://volunteer.foodcycle.org.uk/referral
If you are struggling to fill out the form, please contact Revd Hugh Thomas on 020 8450 1067.
